My cousin and I traveled to England this spring to visit historic sites around Derbyshire and lucky for us we hired Pride Chauffeurs. As older, Americans we couldn’t imagine driving alongside the Brits on the wrong side of the road! Our driver, Naz, was punctual, dependable, and very familiar with the best routes to take each day. He whizzed us down narrow streets and lanes to get us where we needed to go. He also had an uncanny knack for knowing when to turn off the main road to avoid traffic snarls. He used the GPS device but he knew when to ignore it. For over a week we visited more than 15 historic houses, manors and sites and we learned even more about the area from Naz. He always provided good suggestions for places to eat, things to see and other places to visit. When we had some unexpected free time he was flexible in planning something at the last minute. When we return to England, we’d love to hire Pride Chauffeurs again; I highly recommend the company. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed having a charming driver with a great sense of humor.
